The results data was web-scraped from NHL gamesheets. I downloaded all the gamesheets for the entire season and then ran a php script over the html pages to extract away team, away score, home team, home score, result type (regulation time Win or Loss, OT Tie or loss (no shootout in this season)), NHL game ID, date.
This season had a lot of errors in the NHL gamesheets, especially early in the season. Some sheets don't exist, some were from prior seasons, some were partial (e.g. end of the second period). The results are not quite right yet, but I have uploaded them for now.
