On 31 jan. 2022, the provincial government of Newfoundland and Labrador (NL) advises: "Contact Tracing You will need to notify your close contacts that you have COVID-19 as soon as possible. A close contact is anyone you spent time with while you were infectious (2 days before your symptoms started or, if no symptoms, 2 days before your positive test date) and anyone you had contact with during your isolation... If you were in close contact with someone and you were both wearing masks, you do not need to notify them that you have COVID-19. Make a list of people you had close contact with during this period. Send the Contact Notification Letter to the people on your list.” See Province of NL website, archived: https://web.archive.org/web/20220131121758/https://www.gov.nl.ca/covid-19/public-health-guidance/testing/if-you-test-positive/
