On 31 Jan. 2022 all of Newfoundland and Labrador (NL) remains at Alert Level 4: "Gatherings at funerals, burials, weddings, and religious and cultural ceremonies are limited to no more than 50 people or 25 per cent capacity, whichever is less. Physical distancing must be maintained...Wakes are prohibited... Performance spaces are closed.” Since "October 22, 2021, you must be fully vaccinated or have an approved medical exemption in order to access ... Gatherings of any size held for socializing, celebration, ceremony or entertainment that are hosted at a recognized business or organization, a rental room, community centre, or other venues used to host gatherings (e.g. weddings, funerals, birthday parties, baby showers, faith-based gatherings) ... Conferences, conventions and trade shows; Arenas; ... performance spaces”. And "Employees, volunteers, contractors, vendors or suppliers of the businesses, organizations or activities where [there must be] proof of vaccination [, since] December 17, 2021 ...[must] be fully vaccinated”. In sum, all events are closed to unvaccinated persons, while vaccinated persons can attend some events with restrictions. Some types of events are closed to all persons.
