As of 5 July 2021, the government of Newfoundland and Labrador (NL) continues to provide payment deferrals and waivers to "support the provincial business community during the COVID-19 global pandemic” including since April 2020 "continuation of employee pay associated with the time period their employees are required to self-isolate following their return from out-of-province travel due to COVID-19 travel restrictions.
