As of 8 February 2021, Newfoundland and Labrador Health continues to set conditions at Alert Level 2 across the entire province. "For gatherings not run by a business/organization (such as informal family/friend gatherings) in Level 2, the maximum is 20 individuals, provided that physical distancing can be maintained.? Commercial and other organized gatherings are subject to 50- or 100-person limits with distancing requirements. Ice hockey matches may have enjoyed an exception to the 100-person limit with a newspaper report of a 140-person limit in one arena. Leaving code at 3G on grounds that this treatment of ice hockey appears to have been the exception, not the rule. Possible hockey exception now moot with suspension of ice hockey league after renewed covid-19 outbreak in St. John's (capital) region See government of Newfoundland and Labrador and Toronto Star newspaper websites, archived: https://web.archive.org/web/20210208161217/https://www.gov.nl.ca/covid-19/guidance-for-gatherings/ https://web.archive.org/web/20210208161936/https://www.thestar.com/news/canada/2021/02/04/breakers-coach-excited-by-restart-of-junior-hockey.html
