As of 1 February 2021, the government of Newfoundland and Labrador continues to advise: "Individuals who develop symptoms of COVID-19 are advised to complete the COVID-19 self-assessment to determine if they should call 811.... If it is determined by 811 that you require testing, this will be arranged through Public Health.? 80,287 persons or 15% of the provincial population have been tested to date. In 2021, a daily average of 250 tests (or almost 50 per 100,000 persons) have been conducted.
