As of 25 January 1:05 pm CST, according to an unofficial vaccine tracker website, at least 7,054 Newfoundlanders and Labradorians (1.35% of the provincial population) have received at least one dose of an approved COVID-19 vaccine. At least 1,495 (almost 0.3%) are fully vaccinated, having received both required doses. Newfoundland is administering the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines to 3 groups: A- Key workers (in the health sector), B- Clinically vulnerable groups (remote indigenous communities), C- Elderly groups (long-term care residents). Over 70% of adults aged 18+ have been vaccinated in remote Labrador indigenous communities (Nunatsiavut).
