A,B,C: On 11 January, covid vaccinations (Moderna) began in remote indigenous communities in Labrador bringing Newfoundland and Labrador. "Premier Andrew Furey confirmed Monday that vaccinations are also starting Monday in long-term care facilities. (Photo of a resident of Lakeside Homes in Gander, (as she) receives her COVID-19 vaccine on Monday.) Health-case workers continue to receive shots at hubs in the Eastern, Western and Central Health regions.? (Pfizer vaccine used in these locations.) This brings NL to 3G = government-funded at no cost to recipients and extended to 3 different groups -- key workers (front-line health sector), clinically vulnerable groups, (remote indigenous communities), elderly groups (residents of long-term care facilities and retirement homes).
