College of North Atlantic and Memorial University shift to online learning: "All schools across Newfoundland and Labrador are closing in an effort to slow down the spread of COVID-19, Premier Dwight Ball announced Monday. Early childhood education centres and regulated daycare centres will also close, in addition to the College of the North Atlantic.....Memorial University classes are also moving to online instruction, with in-person classes ending Wednesday. Additionally, regulated child care homes closed: "Based on the most recent advice of the Chief Medical Officer of Health for the need for further steps to ensure social distancing, effective end of day today (Wednesday, March 18), regulated family child care homes will close in addition to Family Resource Centres and their satellite offices.
