It was reported on May 13 that since the 'end of April' (exact date unknown) AHS has been asking people that test positive for COVID-19 to notify their employer and work together to identify and notify close contacts instead of AHS, due to a high influx of cases. However, AHS contact tracers will investigate if there are multiple cases in a workplace, and/or if the workplace is considered 'high risk', such as "long-term care, corrections, shelters, work camps, food processing plants, warehouses and manufacturing". https://web.archive.org/web/20210517040926/https://edmontonjournal.com/news/local-news/may-13-covid-19-alberta-dr-hinshaw
